okok. finally feeling btr to post abt navcamp. haha.

Day 1(leader's camp)
mr chiam did sum "econs" talk on investing btwn HSBC n DBS. haha, no real meaning to the 2 real life ones thou. learnt about investment plans of the 2 banks. quite interesting to be reminded tt wad we invest our time and effort in, will eventually reap either HSBC outcomes or DBS outcomes. hm... then leaders had to clean up the whole sch. had TMS QUIZ!!!! om tian!!! so difficult lah! i thot i can at least help my team abit wif the jumping round, bt ended up the game got upgraded. haha. now instead of just giving a simple question n we jump, now they give the verse before n after. n they want us to quote the verse in the MIDDLE! arghx.... so difficult!!!! haha. shows how impt it is to read in context huh? so to all my little juniors out thr, pls rmb to read in context!

Day 2(leader's camp)
went to the airport at nite for sum meditation n prayer wif the whole camp. was fun n interesting experience. Chloe got tricked into thinking tt we were rli gg overseas. LOL!!!! poor thing panicked when she realized she nvr bring passport. haha. oh man... evil........ Yi Zan n me were the onli 2 leaders in my team. so sad leh. its like all the other team leaders groups were completed, except for ours. ah.... hm.... think tt was the main event for day 2.

Btw, wanna take this moment to really thank my 3 beloved team leaders, Yi Zan, Hui Mei, n Rostina. u guys haf been my source of encouragement n strength for the camp. heex.

Yi Zan: you've been a excellnt assistant leader for Team 3! thx so much for supporting me esp during the times when the 2 gal leaders pangsehed. =p U're rli sensitive to the team member's individual nids, n i tink u will make a great leader. Haf alil more confidence n trust in God to cover the rest.

Hui Mei: Thanks for always taking the initiative to lead the team, as well as being the energetic one. U've done a fantastic job guiding the team thru reflections as well as the team times. =) Rli appreciate all the sacrifices u had to make just to come for navcamp this yr. xiexie ^^

Rostina: Thx for always being the one working behind the scenes to cover up all the mistakes tt i make. U've been the one always holding the team together n gelling them up. think i owe u much more thx than i haf given. haha. ur a great team leader to work wif!

wohoo... finally got energy to blog. heex. prom was on 25th nov. saw loads of pretty gals n handsum guys seh... wohoo!!! yestdae was ns chckup at cmpb. 4hrs long leh!! crazy... first station is called blood test. basically its a TEST for the doctors who dunno how to draw BLOOD!!! lol... haha. no lah, i juz super suay. got poked 3 times b4 they finally found a vien. aft the doc started digging around using the needle, i know sure got problem, so i said "oh sh*t", then the doc replied, "oh sh*ot is right, i tink i got to re inject again" arghx.... stupid right? haha.

i rmbr someone shared wif me. Do you believe God can do ANYTHING? if you do, then if you put God first in your life, even before studies, do you believe he can do ANYTHING for YOU? the time i give to God in devotion, God can and WILL give me back DOUBLE(&maybe even multiple times) to use. even if it seems mathematically impoossible to have 25hrs a day, God will make it happen for you becuz you first gave it to Him. rmb the story of the lady at the temple wif only 2 copper coins? she put God as the priority n God was pleased wif her. rmb the story of elijah n the poor widow? she gave her last jug of oil n its was returned in abundance to her.

Just finished an Operation on wednesdae. Ear had an infection, so had to cut it out. now got i tink 6 stiches on my left ear. hehe. then Todae was good fridae! so we had street evangelism! went to vivo city wif half of the nav grp to do surveys regarding easter. Very scary seh! haha. summore zheng qiang left me alone cuz he had sum work to do! ah.... bt thank God i met sum nice guys. think their names were arrift n Haz. glad tt God opened their hearts to the message. hope n pray that they will come to know christ in the near future too! ^^

just realised tt i had 2 close shaves recently. one was on the day of practice b4 the worship at nav HQ. tink it was the 9th. was on the way in a van wif a friend driving when the taxi in front of us slowed down on the highway. SICK LA! the car behind the taxi smashed into it and the 2 cars merged into 1. >< then summore we were the van BESIDE the car. haha, almost ended up in an accidnt thr. bt quite cool thou, to see all the glass splash in front of ur windscreen. *shiny!*

then the 2nd time was juz about 30mins ago. was walking down to buy dinner. then there was another car accident whereby the car got knocked onto the walkway and onto the steep slope beside the walkway! tts about 3-4m off the road. which is whr i was almost gg to be.haha. thank God i was abit slower!

tired... yestrdae went back to sch onli to find out tt the H2 math test i took was consdered void.. was shocked lah.. cuz like there was sum miscomm btwn the techrs on how much info to release to the students, so ended up with 3 classes being given a 'special' wsht wif more than 50% of the test questions inside. so as our principle thot it was unfair, he decided to cancel the whole exam, n restart!!! fed up!!! >< at least even if u want to do this kind of things, gif us advanced notice!! now i got to mug again full swing for the promos math paper which is tmr!!! 2daes onli!! sumore it was intended to be onli one dae study break, gd thing all the student complain until summone managed to convince the principle to let us off todae.. die liao lah... now confirm rli retain liao..... math was my onli hope summore, now expect me to relearn everything which i haf not touched for a week+ liao... then he still dare say its our fault cuz like Alvls coming u still cant rembr aftr one wk die liao... If u feel there is no motivation to study, and begin to question the purposes, then i pray tt this wud help u loads. i'm juz putting in sum parts tt r useful along wif my feelings too.

Assumptions (everything i share wud be from a christian perspctive, if u haf not known Jesus as ur Lord, then this may not make much sense to you. u can feel free to chck wif me thou. =) )

-Your are a christian n want to please God. in all areas of life too. as God is our friend, we haf a relationship wif Him, n so it is natural to want to halp n serve our friend.

-You r in sch by God's will. wadever situation u may be in, it is by God's will. While u r in sch, u shud assume tt u r thrby god's appointment, so u shud do well. not in terms of grades, bt in terms of effort. if u shud fail, do not let it be due to lack of proper study techniques.

so... this is my 100 post already. wow. was reading a friend's blog recently and juz a thot came to my mind. she mentioned being salt n light to the world, which was exactly wad salt retreat's focus was on juz a few daes back. Recently i've lost that fire for saving the lost, n i juz forgot abt my true goal.. then i think even further back, this blog of mine, has not rli been a blessing to others. i tink esp for the posts last yr, they were filled wif alot of anger, hatred, darkness and even curses. which brings me to a QT tt i did wif God on the 5-8-07(salt retreat) tt dae, i was juz led to read ephesians i tink n God told me to build up his body by encouraging and helping other fellow siblings in christ. n i tink tt is sumthing tt i have been sorely lacking in. n i rli see tt God's word is so true. just came back from navteens salt retreat yesterdae!! wohoo!!! so fun!!! >< haha, bt then so tired.. slept at 2 am on the first dae, woke up at 7. 2nd dae selpt at 4.30 n woke up at 8. ^^ whee!!! haha.. nav ppl rox! okays, so first dae was alil slow.. jul n daniel n me were the first few thr. then esther, gordon, chloe n yiwen joined us later on at 9+pm.. nuts lah.. so we juz played tai di n sequence until abt 12. OYO all the way seh. then aft tt, we decided to go for a walk outside at the resort. oh yar, forgot to say whr we were. its tanah merah NS resort. at east coast park thr. very nice n quiet place. =) so we juz hung around the place n went around luking for a buggy with a key inside. haha, gordon's idea. then we juz talk n talk until 2am. =p 2nd dae was all fun again. the rest of salt ppl joined us. so we went OYO again, then played games. aftrnn went basketball-ing. n vincent is like super pro at Bball even thou he volleyballer. Oo haha, so weird seh. so we had an etiquite talk over how males n females think abt each other. quite funny lah, so learn how the other gender thinks abt u. had bbq, n TMS quiz, n then worship, n then we had grad nite!! back from navcamp! i'm glad tt i went. i feel so much stronger ever since the whole process. this yr was rli different. no more tms, no more captain's ball, no more quiet time, no more special nite. bt in its place they decided to put in experiencial learning, lesser bt more lively worships, cleansing sessions. It was juz so different, bt oso very much more taxing esp to the leaders. i tink the leaders this yr rli sacrificed alot of slp n time juz to hold the team together, as well as support each other. briefly wad happnd,

dae1 (leaders camp)

leaders gatherd for preperation session n orientation. had prayer n oso recreational bowling session for bonding. then ordered macdonalds at 12 midnite for the leaders which sum up to abt $100 supper. n oso played until 2am. ^^ crazy dae. worship team was preparing songs in the auditorium until late so we cudnt slp either way. =p

dae2(leader's camp)

had QT prep sessions. prayer for the leaders. then transfered to KCPSS. alot of work to do, shifting all the props, equipment, cleaning up the whole sch, etc. then had prayer and annoiment for the leaders at nite. was a new experience for me cuz i haf nvr been annointed b4, so it was like a new strength endowd to me. oso prayed for the sch n had a prayer walk around the whole sch in our teams to pray for all the individual areas as well as the individual campers.

dae1 (camp)

campers came, had orientation. thou it was rather dry. i agree wif gordon, shud haf juz one game of captain's ball n all the orientation is solved. anyways, had station games aftrwards. was pretty interesting as the games were quite new. then aftr the games, an arguement kinda broke out among the labourers. they said tt they found patrick unfit to be the camp commander cuz his rules were seemingly strick. so he stepped down n Chris Tan took over leadership. then they sumhow came up wif a last minute plan for us campers to haf a fun nite wif no rules. so we had a feast for dinner consisting of 3-4 fried whole chickens per table, mashed potatoes, cheese sausages, artic rolls (ice creams), ben n jerry's ice cream. then we had a indulgence nite wif ktv in the concourse, n unlimited bubble tea, brownies n custard cake being passed around, x boxes on the 1st level classrooms, massages, hand paintings, manicures, movie screenings in the mpr n 3rd level classrooms,neo print, etc.. was super wild n crazy lah. >< then abt 11+, got called to clean up. tts when all 'hell' broke loose. ended up cleaning the sch like slaves. kept repeating our chores until abt 2pm. basically the whole idea was for us to feel 'enslaved' to sin. n the labourers wanted us to use our hate n anger angainst them, n shift it towards sin in our lives. cuz tts how much we shud rli hate sin. i shant go into the torture process, bt feel free to ask me if u wanna know the details. haha..

had war games the whole dae. basically juz to experience the war btwn the body n the spirit. nothing much thr, except tt it was another super draining dae. =)

had cleansing stream session. was rli touched by the holy spirit tt dae. during the time spent in the auditorium, my chains tt were bounded to me had all been broken at last! =) wadever control n ties, that satan had over me were destroyed, rli. i'm not juz saying it becuz i went for the session, bt deep inside me, i felt the Holy Spirit in me being enpowered. alot happened tt dae, bt the most impt thing tt i rmbr God spoke to me was: 'Look to me my child, i have not rejected you, so why should you? Look to heaven and smile because My light shines on you.' i tink the rest does not nid to be said, bt tts roughly wad happned. no visions this time, juz God my father talking to his child.- me.

celebrated victory over satan wif a fun dae at sentosa!!! went thr for morning QT n lunch n then station games!!! was super ridiculously nuts lah. esp the last game whr all the teams had to run from palawan beach to the bus terminal armed wif a umbrella tube(the ones to hold wet umbrellas) to spray water. ask mi if u want to know how we did it. =p anyways, we had to run alll the way w/o getting a piece of tissue on us broken. so thr we were running n the labouers ambushing us all over sentosa. then alot of tourists saw us n wanted to take photos lor. haha. =p hm... wad else... oh yah! nite time had bbq! n then worship!! invited rong long n the NUS band to lead worship for us. was another touching session!! whee!!! haha, i zhi high liao. lol.

Today's is the day tt is most important to me. Its the day tt a a friend gave up his life for mi. the day tt i betrayed him. the day tt my curse was lifted from mi. the day tt my curse was inflicted upon him. the day tt i finally realised how much i was loved by him. the day when it took him all of hell's pain juz to save a stupid lost soul, me.
i guess many of u may find this story quite sickening n boring after hearing it so many times, bt this is rli my reason for living. the sole purpose of life. As he was hanging on the cross, wrists n feet peirced with nails size of 5 pencils diametre. body aching from the whipping n violence inflicted- punched in the face, skin n flesh torn out by sharp objects. head bleeding from thorns shoved roughly as a crown. no more dignity. mentally tired from lucifer himself. to haf all his friends abandon him, and even betray, n hate him. to have those he called his loved ones shun away from him, n kick him. to have his best friend n confider run away from him in his greatest time of need. to have literally the whole world hating him. to have not only physical n mental hell, bt as well as spiritual darkness consume him completely. n yet, he couldnt, n would give up, let alone suicide. through all tt imense tortre, one wud haf one insane. bt he still rmbred us in his final minutes, pleading to the judge for mercy upon us. tt its not our fault anymore. tt he loves us. his dying breathe was filled with the essence of love for us. to be in such agony, one wud onli rmbr wad is most impt to him, n it was us, it was me. tts love... thank u jesus...

live concert was a blast!!! i rli had fun meeting up wif all my saints again. saw joel, stella, wendy, gracia, shao yong, jing hui, xin yu, enya, hui ling, nigel, anthea, grace, kelvin, jenna, jing nan, etc... hai... so happy... bt sumtimes i'm juz questioning myself again. does God rli allow mi back here? he has already sent mi away, yet i believe tt my work here wasnt complete yet. isit rli true? or isit my subconcious again? sumtimes i still rli wish for power. a friend of mine juz got into a very dangerous situation yesterdae.. wun go into the details becuz its very private. bt my friend cud haf nearly been hurt badly becuz of it.. when i juz heard wad happened, i rli felt useless.. many times i haf been too weak to help out. i felt so pathetic watching others suffer while i stood aside. n tts one reason y i took up darkness. i thot it was the onli power i cud use to help then. bt todae, i realized sumthing else. one shudnt be juz asking for power to protect, bt the strength to defeat oneself. all of us haf sinned, n we r unholy ourselves, so how can we even judge others while we cant even defeat ourselves? pray for a change of heart, n the holy spirit to guard ur hearts so tt u wun be swayed. (philippians 4:6,7) onli then are we able to comprehend wad a true n just saviour Jesus is.

fridae is confrimed the results of Olvls released... guess the pressure is back on all of us Olvl students. bt i'll try to stay strong. i will n i must. i trust in my father in heaven tt he does all things for our gd. esp tt i've claimed psalms1:3 as the milestone in my life. tt i will stand firm like a tree planted by still waters, tt i can trust my entire life into his hands. even during navcamp 06, jesus taught me tt i haf to gif everything to him to gain everything. wadever my results, i rli want to be able to walk away smiling becuz i know tt christ is in the centre of my life. n i pray tt God willing, he will use me to reach out to others during this period. tts y i muz remain standing.. i wun repeat the same mistake as b4..

juz finished X country at east coast todae! so fun!!! 3.6km in 14-16 mins? =) then had breakfast wif valerie n cibel @ macdonalds!!! then wanted to find the SFC ppl to join them for captain's ball, so walked back to the starting point of the beach. couldnt find them, so we sat n talked, n took pictures. then walked backwards n found them at Macs. LOL. XD ended up playing volleyball wif kane, val n cibel. shud be able to upload the pictures soon. hehe.

How weak i am... i cant even run 3km without feeling fatigue... let alone bear the pain of the world. strange isnt it? my heart resounds aftr Jesus, i can feel the pain of people around me, yet i'm unable to do anything abt it alone. i've tried to save others, bt by doing so, i was unable to save sumone else.. up to the point whr i had to gif up everything to God n ask Him for help. y? becuz i forgot the most essential part of life. prayer. i once thot i found the balance btwn prayer, the heart, n action. bt its so easy to lose it. To gain sumthing, one must sacrifice sumthing of equivalant value in obtain it. If i want to bear the burderns of everyone around, how much muz i gif up? i've already given up everything, n its still not enuf. bt the piece of wood tt Christ gave me covers more than enuf the price i nd to pay. All i nd to do is pray. =)

i juz came back from the LIVE auditions. so late... n i ended last... =( bt it was pretty fun. kinda messed up the guitar audtions, n i didnt dare take the drums one. lolx. bt my vocals was pretty gd i tink. managed to hit all the high notes, wif exception of one way, whr i kinda zao xiaed alil cuz i hadnt warmed up. bt i sang 'now tt ur near', 'god of wonders' n i oso sang back up for 'here i am to worship' =) fun seh. rli sang my heart out to God. haha.. so tired now... okie, bye...

God works in beautiful ways. There r juz so many things u nvr expect Him to do tt he does. its rli juz beyond human comprehension. I've seen Him esp at work thru prayer. salt reminded me juz how powerful prayer is. If an unjust person wud eventually answr one's request becuz he is irritated by the constant prayers, then wad more our God who loves us beyond the skies. wun he even more want to answer our prayers. n i've seen Him answer prayers so many times this yr. even simple things like my fever, or complicated relationships tt my friends face ( i onli prayed once, n he answerd it the nxt dae immidiatly). sum things tt u dun expect God to ans, he will. =) John 15:7 - if u remain in me n my word remains in u, ask wadever u wish, n it wud be given u. important hor, muz oso be able to understnd God's heart. =) God wants to gif us the freedom to do wadever we want too, as long as its in line wif His purpose.

Recently had sum probs wif my parents.. its rli all my fault to begin wif... bt anyways, was praying to God tt he will sumhow change the situatn around. was rli lost, n still am. bt i juz entrustd everything to the Lord, n contd wif Holy Spirit n my concious clear. Juz recently, i almost got into another 'argument' wif my parents again. bt as i was gg home, i askd God to haf mercy on me, tt he wud do sumthing abt my plight. i didnt do anything wrong. n i was tired of all this. guess wad, i went home n my parents didnt even mention anything! miracle rite? even my fwen was praying for me too. Prayer is Powerful! =)
